When I came back from semi-retirement, I promised myself I would practice radical transparency. That means sharing not just the polished parts of my astrology practice, but also the messy, human parts of my life — the challenges, the pivots, and the lessons I’m learning along the way.
As many of you know, I live with Parkinson’s Disease, and I’ve been navigating financial challenges while rebuilding my astrology practice. The pre-launch of my relaunch has been more demanding than I imagined. Between updating my website, writing posts, and restructuring my offerings, I’ve had to cut the number of client sessions I can take on by about half. That’s meant borrowing money, juggling bills, and skipping things like paid ads on Yelp, Meta, and Instagram.
But here’s the good news: Brad is back working at the airport after almost eight months of being laid off. I’m no longer the sole income in our household, and together we’re digging out of the hole. That’s a huge relief.
What I need now isn’t financial support — it’s connection. Word of mouth is the lifeblood of my practice. 📌 Pausing to Refocus: In the spirit of transparency, I want to share that I’ve paused development of new features like online classes and complementary offerings (Certified Bach Flower Essences, Subtle Energy Healing, and Reiki). But for now, I’m focusing on what’s already created and sustainable.
