They may be done but their not gone!

The effects of a new moon are about a month (28 days), but eclipses can be felt for six months. as a sort of echo which brings with it some major changes often with a symbolic  death of the old and birth of the something new! My personal experience with this New Moon suggests that the kidney stone cascade was triggered by the September New Moon eclipse in late Virgo, leading into the next chapter marked by the upcoming New Moon. And that’s just the physical manifestation read more of my personal experiences as we observe how a New Moon sets off a larger cycle. How is it affecting you? Post your experience in the comments below this post!

The September New Moon eclipse in late Virgo hit me in the most literal way possible. It fell right on the opposition to my natal Saturn–Chiron–Lilith stellium in the 12th house, just above my Ascendant, amplified by my Saturn Return and opposed by Uranus in the 6th.

Virgo rules purification, health, and the body’s systems of order. Saturn rules crystallization. In Pisces, that crystallization happens in the body’s fluids and filtration systems. The result? My kidneys—already prone to stone formation—suddenly released a massive cascade. Weeks of pain, stones moving through the ureters, the kind of ordeal the Mayo Clinic even ranks as more painful than appendicitis. The astrology was uncannily precise: Saturn restructuring, purging, and forcing me to confront what had built up over decades.

But eclipses are never just about the body—they’re about the soul’s evolution. This eclipse marked the end of a 29-year Saturn cycle and the crossing of Saturn over my Ascendant. Painful as it was, it symbolized a rebirth: the old structures breaking down so a new version of me can emerge.

Now, as we approach the coming New Moon, I feel the shift. The worst is behind me. What remains is the clarity and resolve to step into my work and calling at a higher level. To embody the lessons of Saturn not as limitation, but as mastery.

Eclipses ripple through the collective, too. Many of you may be feeling the urge to shed old skins, to restructure your lives, to face uncomfortable truths that ultimately free you. If you’ve been in the thick of it, know you’re not alone.

Here’s to honoring the pain as part of the process, and to welcoming the new beginnings waiting on the other side.
